Q: I know that I’ve spent too much time in the sun. My brown spots are multiplying on my face! Is there anything I can do to hide them?
A: Tinted moisturizer will help even brown spots out and if you are really concerned try a heavy duty cream concealer in a shade that matches your skin. Most importantly stop the sun abuse right away as damage is often irreversible.

By the end of the week the tops of my feet turned purple from the burns I got. Note to honeymooners: The higher the SPF the more enjoyable the honeymoon!

I yelled for my mom and she had to help me inside the house. For two days straight I laid in bed in excruciating pain and I ended up with 2nd degree burn on my skin. Since that day I haven’t laid out in the sun. I only use bronzers or spray on tans.

The risk of skin cancer today is much greater than it was 20 years ago. The main reason, being our outdoor lifestyle. We spend more time working and playing outdoors. We are exposed to more UV rays because the protective layer of ozone around the earth has become thinner, due to the effects of pollution and chemicals. Anyone born today has 1 in 7 risk of developing skin cancer during his or her lifetime….
